Arrive into Kilimanjaro international airport, after clearance of customs and immigration formalities, you will be met by your private chauffer who will be holding a board bearing your name. Drive to Arusha town, the nerve center of East Africa, and getaway to several national parks in the north of the country. A free welcome drink and dinner will be provided! Gold Crown Hotel.

Tanzania safari tours turns your dream of big African game into reality today as you depart Arusha for Serengeti National Park in your custom made 4x 4 tour vehicle with pop up roof to facilitate easy photography of the wildlife. On your way you will have a short stop at the Olduvai Gorge, an archeological site where the fossilized remains of the earliest known man, believed to be about 1.8 million years old, were discovered in 1959 by renowned archeologists Louis and Mary Leakey. A lecture will follow before you visit the museum where the remains of the early man and the tools he used are kept. Thereafter proceed with your journey to Serengeti National Park, on arrival in the park, game viewing en route to your tented lodge where you will spend the night. Today you have the option of either taking a packed lunch and spending the full day in Serengeti National Park, alternatively you can have an early game viewing returning to your lodge for a late breakfast. In the great Serengeti kingdom, the large predators – lion, leopard, cheetah and spotted hyena – remain locked in an age-old battle for supremacy, with millions of herbivores as their quarry. You will be privileged to witness the savage rituals of predator and prey acted out each day on these plains of plenty.

A day of unique and rare discovery as you take your action-packed game drives that will afford you a glimpse of the black-maned lion for which the park is renowned, as well their prey – zebra, giraffe, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle, eland, impala and klipspringer. The million-plus wildebeest are the predominate herbivores and also the main prey of a huge cast of large carnivores – principally lion, cheetah and hyena. After breakfast, it is time to leave Serengeti National Park for Ngorongoro conservation area with a picnic lunch, game viewing en-route. time permitting, visit a village of the proud maasai tribe.One of the few African tribes that have been able to maintain their culture despite exposure to western culture. Learn their fascinating way of life and interact with the tribe before continuing with your journey to Karatu where you will spend the night at Endoro Lodge.

Depart the lodge with a packed lunch for the crater after an early breakfast. There is absolutely nothing that can prepare you for the extraordinary sights that awaits you, as you descend 2,000 feet into the mouth of the crater and onto the crater floor. You’ll discover yourself in a sea of unspoiled plains swarming with animals. The amazing caldera encompasses a self-contained ecosystem, which sustains one of the greatest and spectacular concentrations of wildlife on earth.
Fondly referred to, as an African Eden, the Ngorongoro crater floor teems with 30,000 wild animals, almost half of them being zebra and wildebeest. Wildlife resident within this vast intact ecosystem include some of Africa’s last black rhino, giant-tusked elephant, black-maned lions, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, hyena, warthog, hippo, Thomson's gazelle, eland, reedbuck among others.
