Spend time with the tribe after their daily hunt and enjoy a picnic lunch at the lake.
  • Ngorongoro Crater Game Drives: Descend 2,000 feet into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unflooded caldera. Witness the incredible biodiversity as the crater supports over 30,000 large mammals, including the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard). Enjoy thrilling game drives and a picnic lunch on the crater floor, followed by a stay at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Itinerary

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will meet our representative. Drive to Arusha and reaching after 40 minute. Check-in to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Today is the beginning of the first full morning of your Tanzania wildlife safari adventure with a drive to Tarangire, Tanzania’s third largest national park, aboard your 4x4 customized safari vehicle. On arrival journey through the rolling countryside searching for Tarangire wildlife, including endangered black rhino, antelope, leopard, lion and cheetah. Afterwards drive your lodge, checking into your comfortable accommodations at the Tarangire River Camp. (B,L,D)

There would a delightful surprise as sunrise will just be sweeping across the savannah on our morning Tanzanian walking safari, where your naturalist guides will point out elephants and some of the park’s 260 recorded bird species. Tarangire also well known for hosting migrating herds of wildebeest, zebra and Grant’s gazelle, which you’ll look for during your escorted afternoon game drive. Spend tonight back at the Tarangire River Camp. (B,L,D)

After a hearty and delicious breakfast, your Tanzania wildlife safari expedition itinerary take you across the Great Rift Valley toward Lake Manyara National Park,well known for its herds of elephant and tree-climbing lions. Game drives here present an opportunity to a close encounter with buffalo, baboon, waterbuck, flamingo and prides of lion.After Manyara Park continue into the highlands of Karatu to the Ngorongoro Farmhouse, an exclusive lodge facing Oldeani Volcano and situated on a coffee farm. Drive 70 kms of dirt road to the southern end of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Lake Eyasi, Tanzania’s largest soda lake. This remote region is home to the Hadzape Bushmen,who are a traditional hunting tribe that speaks a “click” language. Spend the day visiting with the tribe after their daily hunt, learning about life in this seldom-visited area. Cap off our visit with a picnic lunch at the lake before returning to the Ngorongoro Farmhouse. (B,L,D)

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at Farmhouse, before setting out for the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, the world’s largest unflooded caldera (collapsed cone of a volcano). This unique crater is protected from the outside world by a huge rim, Ngorongoro Crater’s abundance of food and fresh water supports more than 30,000 large mammals. You’ll descend 2,000 feet into the crater for thrilling game drives among Africa’s “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard), but also search out the rare black rhino — Ngorongoro crater offers you your greatest chance to observe the East African black rhino in East Africa. At Mid-day enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor, and continue our drive before checking into the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or Similar. (B,L,D)

On Day 7 of your safari, you head for the Serengeti, en route visiting Olduvai Gorge, where the earliest evidence of man was found by the Leakey family in the late 1950s. The Serengeti National Park has ‘endless plains’ that are home to the greatest concentration of large mammals on Earth, and your frequent game drives are a chance to see immense herds. You spend the next three nights under canvas at your mobile tented camp, positioned to be as close to the animals as possible. (B,L,D)

Your exciting Tanzania wildlife safari includes daily game drives through the acacia savannahs and grasslands of the Serengeti National Park. These thrilling excursions offer opportunities to spot wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, topi, impala and hartebeest along with predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and wild dog. Along the network of rivers and lakes, you may find hippos and crocodiles. Time permitting, you will be treated to a final game drive of your Tanzania safari adventure en-route to the local airstrip where you will board a scheduled flight to Arusha. On arrival in Arusha, you will have time to explore Shanga, a workshop that makes beautiful handmade beads, paper, candles, soaps and home décor using recycled materials. After lunch,you will be provided with dayrooms to freshen-up before transferring to the airport for our flights home.

Time permitting, you will be treated to a final game drive of your Tanzania safari adventure en-route to the local airstrip where you will board a scheduled flight to Arusha. On arrival in Arusha, you will have time to explore Shanga, a workshop that makes beautiful handmade beads, paper, candles, soaps and home décor using recycled materials. After lunch,you will be provided with dayrooms to freshen-up before transferring to the airport for our flights home.
